Why not come for a walk in the beautiful Algarvian coutryside with the Carvoeiro Ramblers? We are a small, informal and friendly group who meet up on an ad hoc basis. Everyone welcome!

The walks are usually  in  the Carvoeiro /Silves area, but a car is often necessary to get to the start. Duration is about 2 to 2.5 hours and we aim to start/stop at a local cafe.

The pace is relaxed, as we aim to admire the views, but some steep slopes are usually to be expected.

Stout trainers or boots are recommended, as is a walking pole as loose scree can make some paths slippery. Don't forget a hat, water and sunscreen!

There is no charge for these walks (which are done at your own risk).

Anyone is welcome to  set-up and lead a walk: we will publicise the ones we organise on the CVO Ramblers website:

Looking forward to meeting you!
Geoff
